Unix Systems Administrator
Location: Glen Mills, PA Position Type: Full-Time Department: Information Technology

Applied Card Systems, a leading financial servicing company, seeks a results-oriented Unix Systems Administrator. This highly visible position is located at our corporate headquarters in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania.
Duties Include:
·Installations, deployment, and maintenance of production for company’s Internet and Intranet Unix Systems.
·Implement changes/updates to company web site(s) and related application systems.
·Facilitate and take direct responsibility for the installation, configuration, and deployment of Unix based server(s).
·Perform R&D, testing, and troubleshooting for new Unix hosted technology solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
·Associates degree in Computer Science, Information System Management, Business Management, or related field from an accredited college or university
·Two (2) years of Unix systems administration experience.
·Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and software including but not limited to Sun Solaris, Linux, Apache, Oracle RDBMS, MySQL, Windows NT workstation and server, TCP/IP networking and terminal emulation services.
·Experience with the following: DNS, DHCP, NFS, Samba, Sendmail, SMTP, POP3, PERL, Vmware, Jboss, Disk Array management, java, SNMP, postfix, and shell scripting.
