Applied Bank, one of the top 40 banks in America, seeks a results-oriented Commercial Loan Analyst/Underwriter. This highly visible position is located at our bank branch in Wilmington, Delaware.

 

Duties Include:

·         Maintain existing and projected client workflow demands via a range of banking products such as term debt, bridge loans and construction financing, participations, placements as well as depository and cash management products.

·         Perform underwriting related to new whole loan origination and due diligence with regard to existing mortgages, including participations.

·         Prepare operating statements and pro forma operating statements and analyze borrower credit quality and collateral quality.

 

Minimum Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related major from an accredited four-year college or university. An MBA is a plus.  

·         Three (3) years of experience underwriting construction projects and tract developments.

·         Experience in financial analysis (including DCF), negotiation, presentation, and developing and managing internal and external relationships/accounts.
