Applied Bank, one of the top 40 banks in America, seeks a results-oriented Commercial Loan Workout Specialist. This highly visible position is located at our bank branch in Wilmington, Delaware.
 

Duties Include:

·         Manage, collect, and resolve seriously delinquent commercial loans via foreclosure, liquidation of assets and collateral, workout, modification, and similar strategies to minimize the potential for loan losses.

·         Correspond with attorneys, customers, lien holders, and interdepartmental associates/officers in written and verbal format.

·         Portfolio includes commercial real estate loans secured by the following property types:  residential land and land development projects, condominium projects, home building projects, retail centers, office buildings, multifamily, warehouse/industrial, and hotels located throughout the United States.

Minimum Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.  

·         Three (3) years of experience managing and negotiating commercial loan workouts and liquidation of distressed asset loans for a financial institution or mortgage servicer.

·         Must have demonstrated leadership skills and extensive experience in foreclosure laws and liquidation of defaulted commercial and residential loans.

·         Knowledge of commercial credit, financial statement analysis, loan documentation, bankruptcy and related legal issues.
